Full details of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 have surfaced online, preceding its official unveiling on May 3rd, 2024, in India. These leaked specifics outline the key highlights and features of the NS 400, the biggest Pulsar yet.

Drawing similarities from its predecessor, the NS200, the NS400 exhibits familiar styling cues such as the split-seat arrangement, tail section and lights, and split grab rail design. However, it receives subtle tweaks to the tank design, including tank extensions that contribute to a distinct visual appearance. The Pulsar NS400 will offer consumers a choice of four color variants - Ebony Black, Glossy Racing Red, Metallic Pearl White, and Pewter Grey.

Reports indicate that the NS400 will be equipped with the same engine as the Bajaj Dominar 400. The Dominar 400's single-cylinder, 373cc, liquid-cooled engine generates 39.4 bhp at 8,800 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The feature set encompasses a Bluetooth-enabled, colour LCD with a secondary dashboard, a USB charger, switchable traction control, and adjustable levers. Additionally, the Pulsar NS400 will incorporate an assist and slipper clutch, ride-by-wire technology, and four riding modes - Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road, which modulate throttle response and ABS intervention levels.

Regarding suspension, the NS400 will employ 43mm gold-finished USD forks at the front and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear. Braking will be facilitated by a 320mm disc up front and a 230mm rotor at the rear.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will rival the KTM Duke 390, Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RTR 310, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
